Action is more than just our name

We believe in doing something about climate change. Now. Not just talking about it, not waiting for someone else to act. And we know there are others of you in the community that feel the same way. If that’s what you’re after you’ve come to the right place.

Use the Contact Us form if you’d like to get involved with one of our “Action Hubs” or reach out via email with your ideas.

Climate Action Pledge

As a member of the community we each have a role to play in facing climate change head on. We can’t wait for the government or private sector to get us there. By pledging your intention to take action against climate change you are contributing to a climate resilient future. Take the Climate Action Pledge today!

Tips on making your pledge: Tell us what YOU are going to do. It could be to attend a home retrofit webinar, or let your Councillor know you want the City to do more, or perhaps you’ll pledge to take part in a Day of Action like the popular Fridays for the Future. Your action. Your choice.

Jameel pledged “We will replace half of the front lawn this spring with native wildflowers and shrubs for birds.”

Jane volunteers with a community group that wants to reduce its carbon footprint. They pledged “Next month we will replace the old hot water tank with an on-demand unit.”
